Anglo-Saxon, Celtic and Nordic blacksmithing
I am an artist blacksmith trained at Hereford College of Arts, specialising in the reconstruction and reinterpretation of historic metalwork. My practice is informed by the study of Anglo-Saxon, Norse, and Celtic artefacts, using making as a way to explore the techniques and intentions behind them.
Alongside reconstruction, I create original work inspired by ancient design, as well as natural and geometric forms.
